Vietnam – Most Famous Cave – Ke Bang National Park – Hang Son doong. Located near the Vietnam – Laos border, the cave was discovered by a local man named Ho – Khanh in 1991. Children hang doong ( roughly translated to Mountain River Cave in English ) is the largest cave in the world and it’s very big so it can accommodate the modern skyscrapers in the caves, so large that it has its own small forest. The locals, it is said, too afraid to explore the cave because of the noise coming from the river of fast-moving underground. What’s more, I only discovered about 20 years ago and only now being explored as a new feature in National Geographic points out.
Incredible scenery in the cave – Forest found in the cave has been formed under the roof collapsed at one of the caves. After the roof collapsed, enough light spilled into the cave that vegetation can sneak in slowly from the outside. As the vegetation holds, larger plants and larger begin to grow. a group of scientists from the British Cave Research Association began an extensive survey of the depth of the cave. According to Howard Limbert, leading the survey, the cave is five times greater than Phong Nha, who holds the title of the largest in Vietnam. The biggest room, his team found that more than five kilometers long and 200 meters.
